EdgeTheory is a content creation startup that helps individuals and companies create enough content to stay relevant on social media. Soundboard is a product that displays a client-curated list of industry-related articles that individuals can read and easily post to social media using prebuilt approved messaging. The product was targeted toward non-technical users involved with Herbalife, JuicePlus, and other companies with structured hierarchies.

My role
The concept was conceived by the executive team and myself as a pivot to a previous content-generating SaaS product that wasn’t mobile-friendly. I was the sole designer end-to-end - from ideation to launch to product marketing (I coded the Soundboard marketing websites and made animated promotional videos). Harper Maddox (CTO, PM) was incredibly influential during development and the design process.
Early brainstorms
Early concepts were centered around the sharing process but also how we would scrape content from sites and display them within the app.
Production v1.0: basic sharing
Production v2.0: newsletter builder
Additional features were added in a later update that allowed users to build a newsletter using the articles in Soundboard to send to their teams/community.
Marketing websites
I designed and coded custom landing pages for each EdgeTheory client that used Soundboard. See the Healthy Living Soundboard landing page
